I hesitated some time to say something about President Obama’s China visit. Trade without China probably is impossible in our days — China is becoming an important power in the world, a new empire.
What we basically have to watch, is ourselves distinguishing from countries like China. Since Reagan, we developed backwards — in direction to a developing country like China. This is actually what today’s GOP wants — at least they don’t find it awkward to go China’s way: Do away with human rights, social security, education for the majority and high quality infrastructure. That means, finally do away with 1st World Standards.
The point is, if we can be sure, that we’re totally different from a country like China, we’re able to have trade with them — and though insist on 1st World values and standards. But if we trample on human rights ourselves, we get into the awkward position of being unsettled about our own values and moral.
In private life we actually do the same thing. There’s a man in my house who seems to have a crush on me, but I’m shunning him as good as I can. Why? His language is rather violent and hostile to foreign looking people. Once he was talking about his criminal past: it sounds very much like he was a drug dealer, as he bragged about his skills how to break a door….
As long as he likes to be a monkey, I have to distinguish from him. In case he needs sugar, he can get some, but then it’s rather, “Have a nice day, we don’t have much time (haha, white lie…)” Meeting him in the hallway, I’m usually like, “Hi!” — half a second later he can watch my jet trail.
One should always deal politely with monkeys in the neighborhood, but never adjust to them. That means, not to adjust to their language, thinking and acting. Always demonstrate them: “We are different! You’re invited to become like us! But we’ll never be like you’re right now and we don’t play your game!”
Most people don’t wanna change and they will never change — so it’s rather “Hi!”, jet trail and fast sugar.
This is about self-assurance, keeping our values and moral. We don’t want to develop back to Chinese monkey standards. And this is why we have to do away with our own U.S. monkey standards! We need a broad middle class with high education level. We need to do away with uneducated masses that utter primitive and violent language like in 3rd World countries. We can’t afford those poor children suffering in Texas. Most important is education!! Educated folks don’t act like monkeys, they’re not likely to vote for death penalty and they mostly behave like decent people.
We need to do away with monkeys like Walker and have a Democratic candidate run against him in March. Then hopefully go on in Ohio, as get the Democratic majority back in Congress, to take back America and undo Reagan’s and Bush’s monkey business. To be totally frank: presently we’re standing somewhere between the 1st World (basically Canada and Northwest Europe) and Countries like China. And this is basically the fault of Reagan and Bush. Presently we are facing a tough crucial decision: We can go ahead the GOP way in 2012 and that would be terrible. This way leads to banana state standard!!
No, I want the U.S. becoming part of the 1st World a 100%, instead of developing backwards. And then trade with China, while insisting on those 1st World standards with clean and clear conscience. This is what we fight for until November 2012 and we won’t rest!
